Hi Ray, I will be heading to Tasmania in April. We will be staying at the Wyndham Resorts in Hobart. How far away would you be from this resort. Maybe we can catch-up if possible.
Check and let me know your whereabouts during the 18-20 April.
Cheers

Where about are you now? Saw the blog about the 2 knobs, what were you thinking off by not pushing the choke back in, hahah
Enjoy

We are currently at Rawnsley Park Station in the Flinders Ranges, SA. Here for 10 nights then off to the Victorian Highlands for the Man From Snowy River Festival. I will never forget to push the choke back in ever again. Steep learning curve! Haha. Cheers.

Greeting Ray, Jude. Good to see you are both still travelling well. Some nice pics across the site. Do like the handsome fella sitting at the xmas table. Getting in to practice for your return. Tonight is Clay-pot chicken and rice with Hungarian peppers along with a superb glass of Organic Tasmanian Merlot. Another addition to my “Around the world in 80 recipes” collection for this year. Looking forward to catching up and the big bread bake off 🙂

I noticed the pic of your car , I assume it is a mid 90s model is it a diesel , is it a satisfactory tow car ? What’s it like on fuel for mileage?
LikeLike
Yes it is a 1993 automatic petrol model. Tows extremely well, no problems at all. Fuel economy isn’t the greatest but we find that keeping to 90 when towing helps tremendously. We get about 20L per 100km.

I notice you mentioned you had problems with you car, if you don’t mind me asking what were they? Great blog. Enjoy the journey.

Hi Malcolm, glad you are enjoying the blog. The only real problem we have had on the road is that there was a knocking noise and the front free wheel hubs had to be replaced. But apart from that the car has performed really well.
